Safety , Security Procedures and Standards


The following safety , security procedures and standards will be followed during the construction and operation of Adventure Park

Wire Ropes: Only galvanized or stainless steel wire have be used; wire ropes have not be plastic covered. Terminations around trees and poles shall have been closure angle less than or equal to 60 degrees.

Wire rope terminations and grips: The number of wire grips shall depend on the nature and diameter of the wire rope and the types of wire ropes and grips used. For a wire rope diameter 10mm a minimum of 4 wire grip per termination will be used. It shall not be possible to undo critical components without a tool

Design and manufacture: Rope/Wire Adventure Park Course has been designed with consideration for the size and body weight of the participants. The dynamic load (generated by a falling participant) will not exceed 6kN. Installations using self- belay systems made out of steel wire rope has been calculated

Support system: The support system (artificial and/or natural structure intended for installation of activity and safety systems) has the stability and resistance appropriate for the load calculated. In instances where the wire line course transmits loads to the existing structure (e.g. tower) care has been exercised to ensure that the existing structure can bear the loads created by the zip lines.

Activity system: The activity system (e.g. landings, platforms, descending devices, zip wires) has been designed to accommodate the imposed loads. The safety connection between the participant and the high rope game has been made with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Wires don’t have exposed broken wire ends within the reach of the participants; If any part of the zip wire and landing area is not visible from the start point a departure regulation system has been used.

Appropriate training and equipment is provided for participants . The braking is done automatically by the instructors and the participants don’t have any role in the same.

PPE ( Personal Protection Equipment ): All PPE will be , CE EN / UIAA CERTIFIED . PPE inspection check list will be formulated and implemented.

Safety system: The safety system can be collective or individual (e.g. safety harness, lifeline, helmets). When participants’ feet are more than 1.0m from the ground, a safety system will be in place. Systems, in particular with movable trolleys, will be designed in such a way as to reduce entrapment of body parts of clothing.

Inspection and maintenance: Regular inspection and maintenance will be carried out by the Technical Staff : a visual inspection and a functional inspection, The inspection will be logged.

The equipment and its components will be inspected or maintained as follows

  1. Routine visual check – before each opening
  2. Operational inspection – every 1-3 months
  3. Periodical inspection – at least once per year to include: visual inspection, functional inspection, determination of replacement state of worn parts.

Qualification of Operator/Instructors: The Operator/Instructors managing the Eco-Adventure Park Course will be trained in the following. All guides will be trained in First Aid provided by a reputable organization. All guides will be trained in basic high ropes and zip wire operations in-house or external by a reputable organization.

General and Public Convenience

Parking: Ample Parking for car & buses has been provided

Cleanliness: Public areas have garbage bin in sufficient numbers.

Toilets: Ample toilets have been built for visitors use.

Emergency & First Aid cabin has been installed.
